This comprehensive guide to teaching ceilidh or country dancing was first published by EFDSS in paperback format in 1999. Now it's available as an updated online resource.

Written by Wendy Knight, with illustrations by Adrienne Lee and photographs by Roswitha Chesher, this resource features 15 core dances and an additional 13 supplementary dances, and contains a wealth of background information about the dances, core knowledge about the teaching of country dance, and lots of basic tips and know how that would stand a beginner in good stead, as well as being interesting to an accomplished dance teacher or caller. As well as pictures and diagrams, there's a large glossary, music notation, and suggested activities for children's groups.
