At the heart of English folk
Be part of the future of folk

Support us

We want to say thank you.

Over the last three years, we’ve been asking for your help to support the future of folk. Because of generous donations from supporters like you, we’ve hit our target. That means you have helped secure an extra £105,000 in match funding for folk music, song, dance and education!

We believe that everyone should be able to learn about and participate in the folk arts, and this extra funding will help us to do so much more. So, thank you!

But the work doesn’t stop there.

Regular donations help us to plan long-term projects which will keep the folk arts flourishing for future generations.

If you'd like to make a regular gift, you can join the Future of Folk. A gift of £10 a month, would ensure that more people can join in the folk arts, more folk teachers will be supported, and more artists will receive help at crucial stages in their careers.

You can also make a one-off donation securely online today.

Leave a legacy

Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters leaving gifts to EFDSS in their wills, we have been able to create a dedicated archive space in the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library, install a lift in Cecil Sharp House, employ a Dance Development Manager, and much more.
