Support us, and support the folk arts

The English Folk Dance and Song Society is a Registered Charity, number 305999.

We are the only national organisation championing folk music and dance at the heart of cultural life, all across England.

Make an individual donation

These provide immediate and valuable financial benefit. But even more than that, they prove that so many people value our work – and therefore help us to secure support from funding partners.

Or choose a particular activity to support

Would you prefer to make a quick donation without creating an account? You can also support us through JustGiving.

Set up regular support

Regular donations help us to plan long-term projects which will keep the folk arts flourishing for future generations. £10 a month will help us in our missions to get more people joining in the folk arts, to support more folk teachers, and to help more artists at crucial stages in their careers.

Become a regular donor

Or you could join us, from only £2 a month

Our members are valued advocates in championing the folk arts. Membership is about more than simply supporting our work – it’s also about joining a vibrant community.

If you haven’t joined us before, please consider becoming a Starter Member for only £2 a month.

Leave a gift in your will

You could also help us in the longer-term by leaving a gift in your will to fund our activities in years to come, after looking after your more immediate priorities. By leaving even the final 1% to us, you could make a substantial difference.

You do not need to have a lot of money, property or possessions to remember us in your will – we value donations of all sizes.
