Cambridge Folk Festival is one of the UK’s most popular festivals. This year it celebrates 50 years with a line up including Van Morrison, Richard Thompson, Roseanne Cash and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Autumn season of music announced at Cecil Sharp House

The English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) has unveiled its autumn music line up begin at Cecil Sharp House this September. The season promises to bring audiences some of the biggest names on the English folk circuit. 

EFDSS at WOMAD, 24 to 27 July

The four-day world music festival WOMAD takes place at Charlton Park in Wiltshire. It is has an eclectic line up featuring music from Cuba, Bulgaria, New Zealand and Africa to name but a few.
