Youth Forum members gain experience in producing and marketing events and take an active role in what happens at EFDSS.
Being included in the production of events, such as ‘The Takeover’ gives you a lot of confidence and great transferable skills for the world of work. Also it’s lots of fun!
Who is it for?
For 14 to 21 year olds (disabled young people up to 24 years old) who are passionate about the folk arts and live anywhere in England.
When and where does it take place?
The Youth Forum meets online once a month - usually on the first Monday of the month, 5-7pm. They run online events and occasional special events at Cecil Sharp House, including Youth Ceilidhs and The Young Folk Club.
How do I get involved in the Youth Forum?
Membership of the Youth Forum is free but places are limited.
