Folk singer and guitarist Gavin Davenport will be leading a day of exploration into English folk guitar technique. Topics will include playing effective song accompaniments, introducing open tunings and finding ways into various playing styles from the English folk tradition.

This workshop will explore ways into open tunings that will extend your instrumental voice and open up new horizons. Whether you’re new to playing melody on the guitar, would like to explore song and tune accompaniment or simply want to broaden your tonal palette there’s something for you here."
