As the nation’s leading folk arts venue and home to the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library, Cecil Sharp House has a rich heritage of live music.
The house hosts a vast range of live music from barn dances, ceilidhs and performances from local musical groups. It also serves as a platform for everyone in folk and traditional music from emerging names to headline acts like Bellowhead, Martin & Eliza Carthy, Cara Dillon, and Kate Rusby.
Acts like Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling, Graham Coxon, and Goldfrapp have also graced the stage in the iconic Kennedy Hall and in 2012, Time Out voted us as the second best live music venue in London.
