Cecil Sharp House Spring/Summer Season 2026
We are delighted to announce our spring/summer 2026 season in full
Our iconic Camden venue once more plays host to a season packed with music and social dance.
Next season kicks off with the first of three Trad Nights: Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham, with the Fraser Sisters and Jeff Warner completing the series. Audiences are invited back to Wassail with Jim Causley and hear his brand new album on the night. The Indoor Festival of Folk returns for its fourth edition, as well our regular Feminist Folk Club night and The Crossroads showcase series. You can catch more young talent at the National Youth Folk Ensemble's annual gig, and London Youth Folk Ensemble and friends' Takeover event.
Newer faces such as The English Fiddle Ensemble, Kate Griffin and Matchume Zango, Good Habits, Holly Clarke, Tarren and Säwol take to the stage, and a fresh collaboration between Lady Maisery and Jimmy Aldridge and Sid Goldsmith kicks off with Wakefire: A Midsummer Celebration.
We have visitors from near and far; Scotland on Tour sees HEISK and Chloe Matharu head down to London, and Basset take a trip across the Atlantic from Canada.
Firm favourites are not to be missed, with performances from Martin and Eliza Carthy, Kathryn Tickell and The Darkening, Emily Portman and friends, Hannah James and Toby Kuhn, Jon Boden and The Remnant Kings and John Jones Trio.
Jump Billy! marks the anniversary of Billy Waters' death with live music from Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, Clarke Camilleri, Hamilton Gross, and Angeline Morrison, with Maz O'Connor and Tony Montague and Martin Simpson.
We'll mark International Workers' Day with a new event, Songs for the Workers, featuring folk icons Peggy Seeger, Jackie Oates, Nick Hart, Jennifer Reid and Francy Devine.
Plus, there's the return of our beloved Queer Ceilidh Dance Parties and newer Chilled Ceilidhs, and the second ever Queer Folk Festival.
Experience folk music where it sounds best, at Cecil Sharp House.
