Cecil Sharp House Autumn Season 2025
We are delighted to announce our autumn 2025 season in full
Our iconic Camden venue once more plays host to a season packed with music and social dance.
This autumn we embrace fresh ideas with the arrival of the Black British Folk Takeover featuring the likes of Angeline Morrison and Mataio Austin Dean, Germa Adan, Border Widow, Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne and Zakia Sewell; folk fans will be treated to Lisa Knapp and Gerry Diver off the back of their successful new album; griot and kora player Suntou Susso as well as crowd favourites in Peter Knight and John Spiers and Trad Nights from legendary singer Frankie Armstrong, Arthur Knevett and Carolyn Robson and Moira Craig.
Our glittering dance fusion event Bhangra Ceilidh returns after a delightful debut last year, with other returners including O'Hooley and Tidow, Martin Simpson, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan, Granny's Attic and John Kirkpatrick. We welcome European supergroup Firelight Trio and duo Will Pound and Jenn Butterworth to the House as well as an exciting double header featuring Grace Smith Trio and Archie Churchill-Moss. In the depths of December we'll be treated to a lively festive show from Winter Wonderband.
Also featured in the programme, you can enjoy much-loved regulars like Queer Ceilidh Dance Parties, Trad Nights and Feminist Folk Club, as well as our famous Festive Gathering and New Year's Eve Ceilidh.
