The room is named after George Butterworth, Composer and Folk Song Arranger, who was killed in action at the Battle of the Somme in WWI.
Emergency exit
To exit this space in the event of a fire or other emergency evacuation, please note that our lift cannot be used and it will be necessary to use steps to reach ground level. Storrow Hall has 4 steps up, one small step down and 8 further steps up to ground level.
