This friendly and flexible summer school gives you the space to develop your skills, learn something new and play and create new arrangements with other young musicians.

This week is packed with folk music, song and dance from Britain and beyond, led by top folk artists Beth Gifford and David Delarre. We play music by ear - no sheet music here! You will end the week with a performance for friends and family.

For instrumentalists and singers of varying levels – from those able to play a basic tune on their instrument to more advanced players looking for new challenges. No previous folk music experience is required.

For 9–16 year olds.

Monday 8th to Friday 12th August 2022.

You can only book onto this event by booking for the whole week and  limited spaces are available.
