Boiko is an exciting teacher of Bulgarian dance who loves to share the energy and style of the dances from his native country.
He started Bulgarian dance at age 6 as part of one of the biggest children’s Ensembles in Bulgaria ”Rosna Kitka”, then with the Academic Folklore Ensemble in Sofia. He took part in stage performances with both of these groups, both in Bulgaria and internationally. Since 2005 he has taken an active part in the Tanec ensemble in London, which performs at many events in and around London.
The day is open to everyone, whether or not you have previous experience of Bulgarian dance: it will begin with basic steps and build up to more complicated dances.
