Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund this is a free event and booking is essential.
Taking the shape of a folk club night with floor-singers followed by the guest act – the multi-talented Ewan Wardrop – actor, dancer and musical comedian - this theatrical and musical performance draws on the twenty-five recently collected oral history interviews for the Sweet Thames project. Expect something folky, familiar, but altogether different.
Star Creative Heritage is supported by the English Folk Dance and Song Society and ten London folk clubs to host this event and share the Sweet Thames project findings. The project exhibition will be available to view at the event too.
