Peggy Seeger and Calum MacColl.

Celebrating both the release of her remarkable new album, ‘First Farewell’, and her first live concert since the pandemic, the charismatic Peggy Seeger makes a welcome return to Cecil Sharp House alongside her son Calum MacColl.

Peggy - singer, songwriter, feminist, icon, Ewan MacColl’s partner and muse - is the undisputed queen of folk and political song.

Join Peggy and Calum (an exceptional musician in his own right and the producer of ‘First Farewell’), for a glorious evening of up-close performance and celebration of live music.  Expect to hear songs from across Peggy’s long career, songs from the new album and plenty of relaxed family banter.

“Peggy may be folk royalty, but there’s nothing either reverent or nostalgic about this joyous and intimate performance” - The Guardian.

Also playing at 7.30pm

Book with confidence: if we have to cancel any performance, or if you are no longer able to attend the event, you will be able to claim a full refund or request a voucher towards a future purchase.
