Mary Panton dancing

New folk dance class at Cecil Sharp House

We are excited to introduce a brand new dance class to our programme this September.

‘Next Steps in English country dancing’ will be a fortnightly class for the connoisseur of English social folk dance.

Beginning on Monday 24 September, these classes are aimed at those who have gained a broad experience of English country dances and wish to improve their knowledge and skills.

Classes will focus on dance technique and quality, along with more complex dances which will aim to challenge and extend the range of figures and repertoire known.
