Annual Youth Takeover of Cecil Sharp House returns

The Takeover is back! The annual youth takeover of Cecil Sharp House brings young people together to share their love of folk music through dance, playing tunes and singing songs, as well as showcasing talent through performances.

This year is being hosted by the EFDSS Youth Forum and London Folk Ensemble, who have chosen the acts through an application process.

5pm: The Twilight Sessions (Free, 12-19 year olds only)

The event will begin with the Twilight Sessions for 12-19 year olds. There will be the opportunity to dance a ceilidh, play tunes and songs in a session, watch performances in a showcase, and eat cake! Hosted by Between Two Streams, the showcase will feature:
