The theme of ‘Songs of Rural Life’ for the work presented in this pack was a result of the partnership between the English Folk Dance and Song Society and the Museum of English Rural Life, University of Reading as part of The Full English Extra project. This project was also in partnership with Folk Arts Oxford and The Makaton Charity.
This pack presents three folk songs, together with advice on using these songs in Special Educational Needs settings, and ensuring accessibility and adaptability.
Makaton symbols are provided for each song.
