Special offer for members: Introduce a friend to the EFDSS and get a free silver sword lock badge for yourself and the new member It is exciting times for the EFDSS and for the folk world in general; more and more people are joining or returning to the Society. The resurgence of an interest in English identity and tradition has led to increasing interest in our work and we want to be able to respond to this in a positive way. Are you going to Cambridge or Sidmouth? The fact that the EFDSS is still alive and thriving is down to you, our members, and we are very grateful for your continuing support. We don't want to ask you for more money to continue our work, but we would like to ask you to persuade a friend, relation or colleague to join us. To reward you, if you introduce a new (or returning) member at Cambridge Folk Festival or Sidmouth Folk Week we will give you, and the new member, one of our silver sword lock badges absolutely FREE. Not only that, membership now runs for a full 12 months from date of joining giving you even better value for money should you join now. At Cambridge you will find us in our own marquee at the entrance to the Festival Arena and at Sidmouth in The Ham area (from Monday 2nd August). At both festivals we will also have a range of EFDSS publications and CDs and some very special Festival offers - come and see us.
