Hall Hire

Contact 0207 485 2206 x.24 / hire@efdss.org

Since the 1930s, Cecil Sharp House, as the purpose-built home of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, has played host to the biggest names in folk music - Martin Carthy, Davy Graham, Shirley Collins, Bellowhead, Jim Moray, Eliza Carthy and hundreds more. The building itself has appeared in films and television programmes, both as host to concerts and performances and as a recording location.

Our spacious rooms, great natural light, peaceful location, easy transport access and friendly staff make Cecil Sharp House an attractive option for a range of hirers. Previous clients include the London Symphony Orchestra, English National Opera, Premier Student Conferences, Phil McIntyre Entertainment, Raymond Gubbay, University College London and Vintage Fashion Fairs.

The venue

Cecil Sharp House is an impressive 1930s listed building near Regent's Park in central London, only minutes from the bustle of Camden Town and picturesque Primrose Hill. It is the home of the English Folk Dance and Song Society and the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library.
