Cecil Sharp House Choir
Come and sing wonderful a cappella folk and traditional songs from the British Isles and around the world. All welcome!
Since being formed in April 2008 by the English Folk Dance and Song Society, the Choir has become known for its spirited and moving renditions of traditional songs from Britain and around the world, and has performed at venues and events including Oxjam2010, the House of Commons, the British Library, Southbank Centre, Camden Roundhouse and Cecil Sharp House.

Who is it for?
The choir is open to anybody and everybody. No auditions! Everyone is welcome: there's no need to read music, just a basic ability to tune. Songs are taught by ear.
What we sing
The choir concentrates on singing a cappella folk and traditional songs from Britain and around the world, often arranged by their director, Sally Davies. Recently they have been singing Bella Mama, Sing Ivy, The False Knight, Red Apple Juice, Hungarian Lullabies and more!

Director
Sally Davies is a multi-talented vocalist, instrumentalist and composer with over 20 years' experience as a workshop and choral leader.
