Adults & Community

EFDSS Education works to encourage a larger and more diverse range of people to discover and engage with folk dance, music, song and other folk arts and to use the collections held in the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library (VWML). We work in the Society’s home borough of Camden, across London and nationally. To do this, EFDSS works in partnership with a broad range of community and cultural organisations: in the past couple of years this has included the National Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Current and Recent Community Events and Projects:

Big Dance Week: Uphold

Tagore project: The Fatal Hunt (Kalmrigaya)

Singing Histories: London

At Cecil Sharp House we run a wide range of regular classes, workshops and courses in dance and music. Find out more on the Classes and Courses page.
