The Full English

The Full English

With a grant from the PRS for Music Foundation, EFDSS has commissioned folk artist Fay Hield to write new music and arrangements inspired by the collections that make up The Full English.

She premiered her work with the Full English Band of Seth Lakeman, Martin Simpson, Nancy Kerr, Ben Nicholls, Sam Sweeney and Rob Harbron at the launch of The Full English digital archive on 20 June 2013 at Cecil Sharp House, released a CD and touring 11 venues in the autumn of ‘13.

The CD and band went on to win two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for best group and album.
