English Folk Song Bibliography - Addendum



An introductory bibliography based on the holdings of the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library of the EFDSS

Since this bibliography was compiled additional material has appeared and the library has acquired new items. While it is too early to undertake a wholesale revision, this addendum seeks to draw attention to a selection of items of particular interest.

The following items represent recent contributions to the history and reassessment of the folk song revivals in England, and include among them some challenges to the orthodoxy of the late twentieth century.
