In the latest issue, Rachel Elliott, Education Director at the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS), and Board member of the NDTA, has written an article over a three-page spread, where she discusses The Full English project, the benefits of using folk dance in schools, how it can be relevant to the school curriculum, supported by freely downloadable resources from the new EFDSS Resource Bank.
Dance Matters provides resource material and ideas for dance lessons, news, reviews and features, up-to-date information on the latest developments in dance education, a forum for interests and opinions, and advice on best practice in the dance community.
NDTA is a membership organisation led by teachers and dance educators who work to ensure that all young people in the UK have equal access to high quality dance education. EFDSS is proud to be a member of the NDTA and works closely with them as advocates of an excellent and rounded dance education in schools, which includes folk dance.
